I grew up with art. My mother was an artist, and my older sister attended an art academy. I was always in the art room in high school. During my career as a general contractor, I was unable to really apply myself to art. I tried when I acquired my mother’s oil painting supplies and easel , but doing home remodeling took most of my energy. I retired 3 years ago, and now I am painting to make up for lost time.
