Originally an anthropologist and writer, Wynne Maggi’s work is inspired by her love of people, places and ideas. Painting has unlocked new rooms of color, meaning and joy in her life. She works primarily in oil on paper or board, but is also interested in mixed media, encaustic and knitting tiny animals. For the past several years, Wynne has been honing her painting skills with Cody Winieki and her friends at Sparrow Art Center in Loveland, Colorado.
